    Driving through downtown Franklin Park, I happened to find myself going into this bakery to buy a cake at the last minute.  Clean! Lots of space. Great friendly service. Prices really good. Not only that but the cake I bought was one of the best I ever had. Beautifully decorated.  Chocolate with strawberries and real whipped cream. Will be going back and using them again. Would recommend!

    Felt the need to update, as this place is still great. I used to work around the corner and was here all the time. I live elsewhere now. However, if I'm passing by, we love to pop in for a delicious sandwich and coffee. Such was the case yesterday. I had to go across town to get some tickets from a friend in Des Plaines. On the way back south, we decided to have lunch here. They have great made-to-order sandwiches, tamales, sweet bread and great coffee. It was like a little flashback.

    Really happy to see they are doing well. They had a decent line going when when got there so they are still popular!

    The tamales here are almost as good as grandmas and the breakfast sandwiches are delicious. They are only losing one star because once or twice when I went in, they had the sliding doors open which allowed flies to get into the bread/muffins/ cookie area and that was a little gross but over all they are clean and delicious.

    Went in at around 12 pm on a Sunday ... asked for a dozen half chicken half Rajas.. when I got home I realized she gave me all raja .. well my kids don't eat that .. called back and was treated like a moron .. little girl in front needs training on what's what I guess tamales are better at oaxaca on lake st.. never again

    Beyond words how amazed I was when I picked up the cake. The cake was 100% identical copy of my request, got a call couple days before to double check my request, and it came out beautiful and delicious! Special Thank you to the manager, and everyone who made this cake amazing.
